Supporting Conversation & Improving Communication: What Family Members & Friends Need to Know

Conversation is an exchange between two people. Family members and friends of individuals living with aphasia are invited to learn ways to modify and structure their conversations to improve communication with their loved ones with aphasia.
- Location: Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, 355 E Erie St, Chicago, IL 60611, on the 10th floor or virtually.
- Date: Saturday, June 7, 2025, 1–2:30 pm. For those unable to attend on June 7, this event will also be offered virtually on Tuesday, June 17, at 5–6:30 pm; and Wednesday, June 25, at 6–7:30 pm.

Parking is available in our attached parking garage, located on Ontario Street just west of McClurg Court. Self-parking rates are:
- $3 with handicap placard or
- $11 for the first 7 hours without a handicap placard
