Visitor & Parking Information
Masking currently is required in clinical areas at all Shirley Ryan AbilityLab sites of care. To protect our community, we ask that anyone who has experienced cold, flu-like or respiratory symptoms within the preceding 10 days stay home.
At Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, inpatient visitors are welcome between 8 am–8 pm
Visitors must:
- Remain within areas they are authorized to visit, as noted on their visitor badge
- Conduct themselves in a manner considerate of patients, staff and other visitors
- Comply with all Shirley Ryan AbilityLab policies and procedures
- Refrain from visiting when ill
All visitors under the age of 18 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult other than the patient. In certain situations, visitor restrictions may apply.

Patients and visitors are welcome to park in our flagship hospital garage. The entrance is on East Ontario Street just west of North McClurg Court.
Patient and visitor rates are as follows:
- Patient*
- 0-24 Hours: $8
- Visitor*
- 0-7 Hours: $12
- 7-24 Hours: $15
*Must secure validation stickers from the 10th Floor Sky Lobby navigators at the front desk
Valet parking is available at the following rates:
- 0-7 Hours: $15
- 7-24 Hours: $20
Public rates (without validation):
- 0-30 Mins.: $17
- 31-60 Mins.: $26
- 1-2 Hours: $34
- 2-4 Hours: $45
- 4-24 Hours: 50
Complimentary Parking for Designated Inpatient Visitors
During the admission process, we allow each inpatient to obtain one complimentary parking access card for the designated visitor of their choice. Once required forms have been completed, the parking pass will cover the following 21 days (with an opportunity to extend, if needed).
