- Get off the floor more easily
- Walk more steadily with improved posture
- Improve balance and reduce fall risk
- Roll over and sit up
- Rise from a chair or bed
Adaptive Pilates is ideal for older adults, individuals with neurological conditions including Parkinson’s, stroke, multiple sclerosis and those with spinal cord injuries. Suitable for individuals who can transfer from standing to the floor with minimal assistance (using a chair if needed), the class features modifications to accommodate various abilities, ensuring a safe and effective experience for all participants.
