Placebo Sweet Spot for Pain Identified in Brain
Scientists have identified for the first time the region in the brain responsible for the “placebo effect” in pain relief, when a fake treatment actually results in substantial reduction of pain, according to new research from Northwestern Medicine and the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC).

Here, we gather unstructured upper limb movement data and seek to understand if there are patterns in their kinetics that reflect the underlying neuromuscular alterations. In doing so, we can improve our abilities to evaluate patients and design personalized rehab therapy.
