Jenny-Mai Nguyen, BSN, RN, CRRN, CBIS

About Me

Jenny-Mai Nguyen joined the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab team in July 2017. Jenny is a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN), and Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS), having earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Chamberlain University College of Nursing. Beginning her nursing career at Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital, Jenny worked on the brain injury unit, later transitioning to a role as a nurse liaison. While at Marianjoy, she received both the "Caring with Spirit" and "Angel of Joy" awards for her commitment to excellence in patient care.

As and Admission Liaison, Jenny serves as an advocate and consultant to patients and their families. She enjoys collaborating with healthcare providers to facilitate smooth transitions from acute-care hospitals to acute rehabilitation. Jenny's experience and passion empowers her to support patients and families with their rehabilitation care decisions.

Jenny lives in Chicagoland with her husband.
