Legal Aid Chicago [formerly known as LAF]
Legal Aid Chicago partners with volunteer attorneys and community organizations to offer free community-based legal clinics throughout the city of Chicago.

Center for Disability and Elder Law

provide legal services to low income residents of Cook County, Illinois who are either elderly or who have permanent disabilities.

Chicago Legal Clinic

Provides free and low cost legal services for guardianship issues, domestic violence, tenant–landlord disputes, environmental law, immigration services, foreclosures and injunctions, and other legal matters through accessible neighborhood offices.

Equip for Equality

Provides free self–advocacy assistance, legal assistance, training and education on disability rights, advocates for equal housing opportunities for people with disabilities, and offers assistance with school re–entry including helping families and schools understand legal responsibilities.

Legal Aid Bureau of Metropolitan Family Services

Provides legal assistance and representation for family law, domestic violence, consumer and housing issues, elder abuse, and financial issues. In addition to the main office, there are offices on the north side, west side, and south side.

Life's Plan, Inc.
Provided information, planning advice, and legal assistance for individuals with disabilities and their families as they plan for the future. The non-for-profit helps families sort through legal and financial options and then helps them coordinate arrangements to set up an appropriate trust.

Prairie State Legal Services

Free legal help for senior citizens and low-income persons in thirty-six counties in northern and central Illinois. It has service offices in several areas.

Chicago Seniors Services

The Wills Program, established by the Chicago Bar Association and the Suburban Area Agency on Aging, assists by providing private attorneys to local senior centers to draft basic wills. Several locations are available in the cities and suburbs.
