Your best recovery doesn't have to be limited by travel. Shirley Ryan AbilityLab is offering International Remote Consultations for patients and their local care teams via a secure Webex video conference. The result? An elevated level of care (or a second opinion) from the comfort of your community.
Our Global Patient Services team will coordinate your preconference medical record exchange, provide translation services, establish a specially appointed videoconference clinical team and design an agenda based on your questions and goals. Your conference team may include a range of physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) specialists: among them, physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists and other clinicians whom you would like to include.
Your Shirley Ryan AbilityLab clinical team will review your current medical plans and therapeutic activities, alongside your local treating team, and make recommendations on how best to advance your care and recovery.
Following your virtual session, we will provide you with a written summary that includes our recommendations so that your local care team may implement the suggestions and supervise your ongoing care.
