Join us for a monthly online group for individuals with acquired brain injuries (ABIs) and cognitive or communication challenges. This is a welcoming space to share your experiences, hear others’ stories and build community.

Facilitated by Victoria Patterson, senior speech-language pathologist Think and Speak Lab, and Jaclyn Schneider, senior speech-language pathologist, Northbrook Outpatient Center, the group provides a safe environment to discuss personal challenges and victories, share helpful resources and explore ways to live well with ABI.

Who Can Participate

Body

The ABI support group is open to individuals who:

  • Have experienced an ABI, such as stroke or traumatic brain injury
  • Face cognitive-communication challenges (excluding aphasia)
  • Are motivated to listen, share and build a supportive community with others
