About Me
Philip Huang, PhD is a Post-Doctoral Fellow providing psychological intervention and assessment in Patient Family Counseling at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab. He previously trained in Rehabilitation Psychology at the VA Boston Healthcare System and the University of Kansas Health System.
Dr. Huang primarily works with adults with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and strokes, providing psychoeducation and psychotherapy to patients and their caregivers. He also conducts psychological testing to assess memory and cognitive functioning.
Dr. Huang is a member of the API Special Interest Group within the APA Division 22, where he promotes research and advocacy for people of Asian and Pacific Islander descent with disabilities.
