Overcoming Challenges: Evaluation & Treatment of Sensory-based Feeding Disorders in Children

DESCRIPTION
This webinar will provide information on the evaluation and treatment of sensory-based feeding disorders for a variety of ages and diagnoses. This webinar will include information on how to overcome challenges in identifying, evaluating and treating this population across a variety of settings. Course topics will also discuss ways to modify your treatment plan to serve the need to families experiencing mealtime stress for children with a variety of underlying diagnoses including cerebral palsy, dysphagia and brain injury. Ideas and strategies for incorporating therapy into the home will also be provided.  

LEARNER OUTCOMES
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify when therapy is appropriate for children with feeding disorders
  2. Determine ways to deliver effective therapy within your setting for a
    given diagnosis
  3. Construct ways to help families measure progress outside of therapy
