About Me

Dan O’Mahoney provides leadership for Shirley Ryan AbilityLab’s extensive, sophisticated technology network.

In his role as Vice President, Information Technology (IT), Dan is responsible for the strategy, development, implementation, operations and support of clinical, financial and other computer and communications hardware and software solutions that enhance patient care and streamline business operations.

Before joining Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, Daniel spent more than 20 years in IT roles in healthcare, finance, nonprofit and professional services. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Technology for Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, Ill.

Dan served in the U.S. Army for more than 20 years, retiring as a Major. He earned his BS in Information Systems from DePaul University in Chicago, Ill., and his MBA from the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business in South Bend, Ind.
