Nicole Sharf, a clinical psychology graduate student at The Chicago School working with the Center for Rehabilitation Outcomes Research, presented a poster summarizing the results of focus groups she conducted to learn more about the psychological and sexual well-being of adults with SCI at the 2024 Rehabilitation Psychology Mid-Year Conference in Austin, TX. She identified several themes that were important to focus group members, including sexual self-esteem, relationships with non-injured significant others and reproductive health.
Her research is funded by a grant to CROR from the Craig H. Neilsen Foundation.
