Dr. Allen Heinemann will be co-presenting Plenary I in the Opening Remarks on Wednesday, October 21, 2020, along with Dr.Leighton Chan.

This one-hour plenary session will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Discussions will focus on trends in manuscript topics and authorship, and identify key events and landmark papers over the past century. They will summarize the evolution of contemporary medical and scientific publishing and how these trends affect Archives and ACRM.

Following this didactic presentation, key opinion leaders will participate in a roundtable discussion and anticipate the future of medical publishing.

Panelists include Jason Roberts, Senior Partner, Origin Editorial; ; Jeff Basford, editor-in-chief, Archives of Rehabilitation Research and Clinical Translation, Mayo Clinic; Lydia Tacx, MBA, Director Open Access Enablement Journal, Indexation, Elsevier.Ford Vox, Archives’ RehabCast editor, will moderate the panel discussion.
