The Nordic Walk class meets seasonally. New Spring-Fall schedule for 2019 TBA.
The weekly 45-minute class instructs participants in the technique of Nordic Walking using Nordic Walking poles.
This class works on increasing cardiovascular endurance, strengthening the muscles of the upper body by actively engaging them in walking, improving stride length, arm/leg coordination, and overall balance during walking.
Class is held indoors and when weather permits, will take place outdoors. Participants meet at the Fitness Center.
All participants must be ambulatory and provide his/her own Nordic Walking poles.
