About Me
Rachel's clinical work includes working with children with language disorders, articulation and phonology disorders, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Pediatric Feeding Disorder, Cerebral Palsy and children who use Assistive Technology. She is a member of multiple committees within the organization, including the Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) Practice Council and Dysphagia Committee. In the outpatient pediatrics department, Rachel also participates in fluoroscopic swallow studies, aquatic speech therapy and summer speech and language group therapy. Before pursuing her clinical degree, Rachel worked in research studying the impact of caregiver-implemented language intervention on child communication. She is a published first author in the American Journal of Speech-Language Pathology (AJSLP). She is also a member of American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA).
