About Me
Dr. Maria Reese enjoys caring for patients with various musculoskeletal and sports related injuries and pains. She is able to provide ultrasound as well as fluoroscopically guided procedures in order to provide multiple treatment options to her patients. She has particular interests in female athletes, women's health, adaptive sports, and performing arts medicine. She has been the Medical Director of the Performing Arts Medicine Program since 2014 and previously served as the Medical Director of the Joffrey Ballet and Chicago's Blue Man Group. As Medical Director, she cares for performers from Lookingglass Theatre, Steppenwolfe Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Goodman Theatre, Ravinina, among others. She additionally cares for students and aspiring professionals from various Chicago area pre-professional schools and universities including the Joffrey Ballet, Hubbard Street Dance, Roosevelt University, and Columbia College. She strives to help patients continue with their professional, artistic, and athletic endeavors throughout their treatment and thereafter.
