About Me

About Me

Lindsey is a Senior Speech-Language Pathologist at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab’s Burr Ridge Outpatient & DayRehab Center®, where she has been a valued member of the team for the past five years. She specializes in working with the adult population, treating a wide range of neurological and medically complex diagnoses.

Her primary clinical expertise lies in the assessment and treatment of dysphagia, as well as tracheostomy management. She is certified in SPEAK OUT! and the use of neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) as a treatment modality for dysphagia. She is committed to utilizing evidence-based practices to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. She is especially passionate about helping patients safely return to eating and drinking, recognizing the profound impact this has on quality of life, independence and overall well-being.

In addition to her clinical work, Lindsey developed and now leads the first FEES (Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing) DayRehab program at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab Burr Ridge. This innovative program has significantly improved patient outcomes by providing timely access to instrumental swallowing assessments, allowing for faster clinical decision-making and more effective treatment planning.
