Dr. Karina Bouffard has been an attending physician at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab since returning to Chicago in 2014. Her primary clinical work is with adults with subacute and chronic pain. She is on the board of directors for the Midwest Pain Society and is a co-editor of the society's newsletter. Her interest includes cancer pain, cancer prehabilitation, fluoroscopic guided injections and neuromodulation. She is a member of the Cancer Pain Research Consortium and is on the Young Physician's Council within the Consortium.
