About Me

Karina Bouffard, MD, has been an attending physician at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab since 2014. Her primary clinical work is with adults with subacute and chronic pain. She is on the board of directors for the Midwest Pain Society and is a co-editor of the society's newsletter. Her interests include cancer pain, cancer prehabilitation, fluoroscopic guided injections and neuromodulation. She is a member of the Cancer Pain Research Consortium and is on the Young Physician's Council within the Consortium. She is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
