About Me

Julie Torrence, MSOT, LCSW is a Patient Family Counselor at the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab. Julie provides individual and family counseling to people primarily affected by Traumatic Brain Injury and Stroke. Prior to joining Shirley Ryan, Julie maintained a private psychotherapy practice working with adults. Her work experience also includes over 20 years as an occupational therapist in neurological and orthopedic rehabilitation.
