Daniel Wright, RN

About Me

A highly experienced executive, Daniel serves as the senior nursing leader across Shirley Ryan AbilityLab’s continuum of care — including inpatient, DayRehab, outpatient and alliance sites — maintaining the organization’s commitment to leading innovation, fostering outstanding clinical outcomes and sustaining a culture of nursing excellence. Daniel also oversees nursing education and research, radiology and the clinical laboratory.

Daniel leads with a heart-centered approach and has a passion for facilitating best-in-class patient experiences, care delivery and outcomes. Prior to joining Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, Daniel served as nurse executive chair for Ascension Wisconsin, where he led nursing across 10 acute-care hospitals and was chief nursing officer at Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital, the flagship hospital. Previously, he held nurse executive roles at system, multi-site and single hospitals in Florida, Massachusetts and New York.

Daniel received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Health Administration from Ohio University.
