In the Neuroplasticity laboratory, we are interested in examining the changes in neuroplasticity that follow neurocognitive and neurostimulation-based interventions in both healthy individuals and those with brain injuries.

The Neurostimulation laboratory is currently pursuing multiple studies using various neurostimulation techniques, including transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) and high-definition tDCS (HD-tDCS).

The Shirley Ryan Abilitylab Motion Analysis Center (MAC) is conducting a research study to establish a normative database of the oxygen consumed by individuals who are normal that can be used to contrast the performance of patients with walking deficits.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the relationship of the hip power in 3D Gait Analysis to select a set of preoperative gait features that distinguished between good (i.e., no longer stiff) and poor (i.e., remaining stiff) postoperative outcomes after rectus transfer surgery in children with Cerebral Palsy.
