Summary
Body
This is the second of three related projects in this RRTC on HCBS.
This project has three discrete aims:
Aim 1) To define the scope of HCBS practices and specific service-delivery competencies
This will be achieved through a literature review.
Aim 2) To identify promising HCBS practices and requisite service-delivery competencies
This will be achieved through interviewing HCBS quality measurement thought leaders, providers, participants, facilitators, payers and other key informants as suggested by an advisory committee.
Aim 3) to describe how HCBS providers deliver best HCBS practices and assure that staff demonstrate service-delivery competencies
This will be achieved by developing case studies of exemplary HCBS organizations that serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, chronic and persistent mental health needs and older adults with physical disabilities.
