In the late summer or early fall of 2022, the third edition of the IDEAS education series will launch. This new initiative is entitled “Información para el Desarrollo Educativo y Apoyo Social en la comunidad afectada por Parkinson" or "Information for Educational Development and Social Support in the Parkinson’s Community" (IDEAS en Español).

This program — funded through the Parkinson’s Foundation Community grant — will be directed by Drs. Jennifer G. Goldman, MD, MS, and Susanna Miranda, DNP, along with the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab team, will offer virtual sessions in Spanish focusing on PD education and topics important to one’s physical and mental health as well as proactive strategies to enhance one’s wellbeing. Sessions will include speakers and instructors who will lead interactive and engaging sessions on topics such as physical exercise, nutrition, dance and more.
