Participants must be able to walk independently and be able to transfer from standing to floor with minimal assistance (can use chair)


PWR!Moves® and PWR!Circuit Group classes were developed by Dr. Becky Farley, a physical therapist, neuroscientist and Parkinson exercise specialist . PWR! Circuit Class directly targets four foundational skills shown by research to become impaired in PD and that interfere with everyday mobility. This semi-private class integrates PWR!Moves® into circuit training.

  • PWR! UP – Antigravity Extension

  • PWR! ROCK – Weight shifting

  • PWR! TWIST – Axial mobility

  • PWR! STEP – Transitional movement training

Each class will warm up and cool down with PWR!Moves and then progressively challenge those skills physically in every circuit station. Areas of focus at circuit stations will include: High intensity cardio, functional strength training, agility, over ground gait training, postural control/fall prevention, functional floor mobility, vestibular and proprioception stimulation, active stretching to improve alignment and posture, increased cognitive engagement.
