Two residents in our Prosthetic Research Residency Program were selected to receive the 2019 OPERF/American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics (ABC) Resident Travel Award Program for their resident-directed studies. Landon Davis and Joey Zisk will present their research at the 2020 American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists Annual Meeting and Scientific Symposium, to be held in Chicago on March 7, 2020:

  • Initial development and testing of a novel low-cost prosthetic socket to be used in low-income areas with limited resources (Landon Davis, MPO)

  • Effect of prosthetic ankle-foot repositioning on transtibial socket pressures during ramp walking (Joey Zisk, CO, MPO)

Congratulations, Landon and Joey!
