Explain Pain is a book that aims to give clinicians and people in pain the power to challenge pain and to consider new models for viewing what happens during pain. The principles presented are particularly suited to consideration of chronic non-specific pain (e.g., low back pain, elbow pain). However, they can be extended to acute pain states and those with co-existing pathology such as rheumatoid arthritis and used in conjunction with other management strategies.
