About Me
About Me
Michelle splits her time between the Inpatient Arms and Hands Lab and 15S, where she specializes in treating patients with upper extremity injuries. After earning her B.S. in Community Health from Indiana University and a Master’s in Occupational Therapy from Rush University, she started her career working in outpatient orthopedics, where she developed a strong foundation in upper extremity rehab. She became a Certified Hand Therapist in 2022.
Michelle is a key contributor to several interdisciplinary initiatives. She led a needs assessment to improve care coordination, and played a central role in launching the C-CARE Clinic for patients with complex nerve injuries. She is also creating clinical decision tools focused on tissue healing and collaborated with the marketing team to promote both the Peripheral Nerve Injury Clinic and outpatient MSK services.
When Michelle isn't working she enjoys traveling to new places and going on walks with her dog.
