About Me

Jenna Bruchauser Sarna, PsyD is the Manager of Psychology and Patient Family Counseling at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab. She also holds academic appointment in the Department of PM&R at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine.

Dr. Sarna has been practicing as a health and rehabilitation psychologist for more than a decade. Her primary clinical work is with adults with pain, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, cancer and other complex medical conditions. Dr. Sarna is skilled in neuropsychological assessment, in addition to individual and group therapy.

Dr. Sarna has conducted research in several areas including Diagnostic Group Disparities in Interdisciplinary Pain Treatment, Problem Solving Therapy for the Remediation of Executive Function Deficits and the Impact of the Biopsychosocial Model and Mind-Body Theory on Patients with Fibromyalgia. She has presented at conferences in Honolulu, Istanbul-Turkey and Chicago.
