Help Improve Cognitive Testing for People with Spinal Cord Injury

Objective

This study aims to understand what adjustments help people with spinal cord injury take cognitive tests. Your input can help improve care and testing tools for others.

You will:

Attend a 90-minute in-person interview

  • Try assistive devices for cognitive testing (e.g., stylus, trackball, voice control, & eye tracking)
  • Share your feedback on what works best
     
  • Provide information about:
    • Level and type of injury
    • Whether you are willing to travel to Shirley Ryan AbilityLab (355 E Erie St.) or Northwestern Lab in Chicago (625 N Michigan Ave) for the interview

Who Can Participate

  • Individuals living with spinal cord injury 
  • Age 18 or older
  • Speak English
  • Able to provide informed consent

Compensation

Receive a $200 Amazon gift card upon completion of the interview.
