USA Paralympic Sled Hockey Team Earns Gold Medal in Dramatic Fashion

Before heading to South Korea to defend their gold medal from the 2014 Paralympics, the U.S. National Sled Hockey Team visited Shirley Ryan AbilityLab to meet with patients and show off their skills.

For many of them, the visit was a homecoming. Five players from our team, the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab Blackhawks, are on the national team—that’s more than any other sled hockey team is sending to the Paralympic Games.
