Body

Some people who get the COVID-19 vaccine may experience arm soreness — a sign the immune system is working!

In a segment for NBC 5, Maria Reese, MD, attending physician, Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, shared five stretches that can help relieve this temporary side effect:

  • shoulder stretch
  • open and close
  • snow angel
  • overhead press
  • side and front wall slide
