About Me

Verlinda Henshaw, OT,  Associate Vice President of Shirley Ryan AbilityLab’s alliance with Henry Ford Health. As part of this alliance, she partners with Henry Ford leadership and provides oversight for rehabilitation services. The collective goal: to advance care by integrating best practices that drive patient outcomes, safety, quality, access and operational improvement.

An occupational therapist by training, Verlinda has expansive experience in clinical operations and leadership. Most recently, she served as Senior Director of Operations at ADVENT, a private ENT group. Prior, she served as Executive Director of another Shirley Ryan AbilityLab alliance organization, where she oversaw rehabilitation services.

Verlinda received her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Fla., her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from San José  State University in Calif., and her Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy from University of Illinois Chicago.
