Jodi Armitage, MS, OT/L

About Me

Jodi Armitage joined the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab team in 1996, working as an occupational therapist and Certified Hand Therapist. Jodi's focus was on the treatment of patients with spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, stroke, burns and amputations.

In her current role as an Admission Liaison, Jodi works closely with acute-care hospitals, patients and families to prepare patients for rehabilitation and a safe and smooth transition to rehabilitation. Her experience as a therapist gives Jodi the ability to understand, educate and communicate clinical information to both patients and medical staff. Jodi has seen the power of therapy restore health and improve quality of life. She believes that Shirley Ryan AbilityLab uniquely provides patients with the innovative treatments needed to achieve greater independence and functional ability.
