About Me

Renee Cooper, MSN, RN, CNL, is an accomplished nurse leader with over 20 years of critical care nursing experience, including 15 years in Pediatric Intensive Care and Pediatric Open-Heart ICU, and 5 years in Adult ICU. Her extensive clinical background has shaped her holistic and family-centered approach to patient care and interdisciplinary collaboration.

She holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Healthcare Policy, and a Post-Master’s Certification in Clinical Nurse Leadership, equipping her with the skills to drive evidence-based practice, lead quality improvement initiatives, and influence healthcare systems at the policy level.

Renee is a dedicated advocate for nursing excellence and professional development. She is an active member of several prestigious professional organizations including the American Nurses Association (ANA), Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN), the Association of perioperative Registered Nurses (AORN), and the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN).

Known for her leadership, mentorship, and passion for advancing pediatric and adult critical care, Renee continues to contribute to the profession through active engagement in clinical practice, policy advocacy, and professional service.
