The Shirley Ryan Abilitylab Military Sports Camp would like to thank you for your interest in our annual Military Sports events. This year we will be offering two (2) seperate sports training expereinces; Sled Hockey and Wheelchair Softball.  We have gold Medal Paralympians lined up to coach the Sled Hockey Clinic.  THe Softball Clinic will be lead by Hall of Fame players and Team USA personnel.  These expereinces will provide in-depth skill training, team concept education and health and wellness opportunties for the participants.  We look forward to providing a phenomenal camp experience, and while we are returning to programming we will maintain many mitigation and safety regulations to keep participants, staff and volunteers safe throughout the events. Once again thank you for your interest in our camp and we welcoming all applications!

The 2020 Military Sports Camp will be a Skills Academy featuring two intensive sport clinics for veteran and active duty military personnel with a primary physical disability interested in advancing his/her athletic skills in either SLED HOCKEY or WHEELCHAIR SOFTBALL. Intermediate-level athletes are invited to learn from elite-level coaches and enjoy all Chicago has to offer. Local ground transportation, lodging, meals, and program activities are provided to military personnel at no cost. A small travel stipend may be available to help offset the cost of travel to Chicago.

In addition to high-level sport instruction, this year's Military Sports Camp Skills Academy will provide educational sessions for all participants on:

• Nutrition
• Joint Health and Injury Prevention
• Equipment Maintenance
• Team Development, and more

The Skills Academy will conclude with a friendly round of competitions.
