After being diagnosed with COVID and treated at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Gordon continued his recovery at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab. The GMA film includes many scenes of Gordon’s rehabilitation with Shirley Ryan AbilityLab therapists and his thoughts about his care on the day he was discharged.
“It’s an odd feeling to have been so close to death, and then back in such a full form,” Gordon said.
