On Dec. 20, 2018, Shirley Ryan AbilityLab hosted more than 40 members of the National Association of Hispanic Nurses-Illinois (NAHN-Illinois) for their monthly chapter meeting.
At the meeting, Karen Colby, vice president and chief nursing officer, and Rasa Avizienis, senior recruiter, Human Resources, spoke about nursing opportunities at SRAlab. In addition, physical therapist Vincent Nastav gave a presentation on how to prevent injuries while moving patients. NAHN-Illinois members also collected winter coats, gloves, scarfs and socks for a charity drive.
