Precision Human Ability: Optimizing Function
DESCRIPTION
The goal of rehabilitation is to minimize the impact of functional impairments or prevent them altogether. Precision human ability is the optimal pathway to deliver the right intervention, at the right time, in the right setting, for the right person—ultimately elevating the quality and effectiveness of rehabilitation interventions. This approach has the potential to transform clinical care, enhancing functional outcomes for individuals and increasing the overall value of rehabilitation within healthcare. This webinar introduces healthcare professionals to the emerging field of precision human ability, highlighting their role in advancing clinical practice. Participants will learn about the latest technologies, interventions and innovations that are already shaping the future of rehabilitation as well as few examples of precision human ability studies. Finally, learners will be introduced to the Rehabilitation Treatment Specification System (RTSS), a framework designed to clearly define and guide rehabilitation treatments. This framework paired with the emergence of new technologies and data analytics approaches will pave the way to the rapid development and adoption of precision human ability.
