How Early ICU Rehabilitation Enhances Patient’s Participation in Acute Rehabilitation
DESCRIPTION
Advances in early mobility in the intensive care unit (ICU) result from interprofessional collaboration. Medical teams are focusing their therapies through the lens of optimizing participation in therapies. Therapists are enhancing their knowledge to prescribe doses of exercise for the critically ill. This course will define how early rehabilitation in the ICU prepares patients to participate in acute inpatient rehabilitation.
