Posture Care Management: A Cross Discipline Approach

Description: The body moves thousands of times in one day. For patients who require complex care, have limited communication or are unable to demonstrate pain, it is crucial their care team is able to understand their needs. 24-hour positioning is essential for an individual’s social interaction, mobility, nutrition, pressure management, sleep and overall function. This webinar will review basic principles of 24-hour posture care management, applying them to varied ages and conditions with limited mobility. Strategies for assessment and implementation with transdisciplinary teams, and potential benefits in support of rehabilitation goals will be discussed.
