Joseph Bergen, PT, DPT

About Me

Joseph Bergen, PT, DPT graduated from Saint Louis University with a bachelor degree in Exercise science in 2015, and soon graduated from Saint Louis University with a Doctorate in Physical therapy in 2017. Joseph joined The Shirley Ryan AbiliyLab in 2017 with the Flex Staff department where he had the opportunity to work in all levels of care that The Shirley Ryan AbilityLab has to offer. Joseph did find his dream job of treating patients with orthopedic and neurologic conditions at the Outpatient and DayRehab Center Burr Ridge in 2019 to provide patient education, and a compassionate approach to care for both patients and family. Joseph does have a special interest in treating patients with spinal pain such as neck and low back, chronic pain management, and patients who are affected in gait and balance post-stroke. As many around Joseph know, he likes to bring a fun energy to the clinical environment, and he is an avid Chicago White Sox fan going to many games with friends and family.
