Anne McElherne has devoted nearly 10 years of her career to promoting brands, sharing stories and driving engagement. Currently, she serves as director of marketing for Shirley Ryan AbilityLab (formerly Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago), the #1 rehabilitation hospital in America. In this role, she leads multi-channel campaigns, engaging the hospital’s diverse stakeholders through social media and video, advertising, events and collateral materials. Previously, Anne was marketing manager for Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, where she played an integral role in marketing the hospital move and brand transition. Anne began her career at the Mx Group, a demand generation and digital development agency, where she supported business development and campaigns for various clients, including Chevron, Cision and Grainger.
Outside of her work at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, Anne serves as president of the Young Associates Board, a nonprofit affiliated with Lurie Children’s, supporting pediatric brain tumor research and family services.
