Climbing is an activity which can be easily adapted to any ability level for people with physical disabilities. The Chicagoland Adaptive Climbing Club provides opportunities for people with physical disabilities to enjoy the sport of climbing by providing instruction and adaptive climbing gear to help each individual reach new heights.

In the City of Chicago, the program meets the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month from 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm at the following locations:

  • Summer - Early Fall: June – October Maggie Daley Park (337 E. Randolph St., Chicago, IL, 60601)
  • Winter - Late Spring: First Ascent Avondale (3516 N. Spaulding Ave, Chicago, IL 60618)

In the suburbs, the program meets on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Mondays of the month at Vertical Endeavors (246 Windy Point Dr, Glendale Heights, IL 60139)

Adaptive climbing is a collaborative program between, the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, Adaptive Adventures, and Synergy.
