Synopsis/Goals of the Project

To develop a software interface for neuromotor rehabilitation mapping the users’ residual upper body mobility into the 2D space control signal that guides the movement of a cursor on a screen.

To test the aforementioned system in personalized rehabilitation treatments provided by portable and low-cost technologies in clinic and home environments.
- To use the BMI not only with a rehabilitative goal but also to facilitate the use of an assistive device, in particular to control a powered wheelchair.
