Dr. Levi Hargrove, Director of the Center for Bionic Medicine, received the 2018 Research Award from the American Academy of Orthotists & Prosthetists. The Research Award is “intended to recognize those members performing the most outstanding research in the field of orthotics and prosthetics.” Dr. Hargrove was specifically recognized for bridging important clinical gaps to advance control systems for prosthetic limbs.
