The Shirley Ryan AbilityLab's Caring for Kids program provides adaptive sport and recreation programs for children with physical impairments or conditions. The programs are designed to foster a positive quality of life for participants by promoting physical fitness, independence, socialization, activity and adaptive resources.
With support from the Blackhawk Charities, Cubs Care, and the Polk Bros. Foundation, Caring for Kids provides year-round programs, weekend programs and camps, all following the Chicago Public School schedule.

In order to enroll your child to participate in the Caring for Kids program, please download and submit a completed registration packet (link above).

Once reviewed, you will receive a confirmation email and monthly flyers about upcoming programs. You can also contact Ashley for any program specific questions. If you leave a message, please remember to state the participants name, the event, and if transportation is required.
PLEASE NOTE ONLY KIDS WITH COMPLETED REGISTRATION PACKETS WILL BE CONSIDERED REGISTERED WITH CARING FOR KIDS.
