Crain’s Chicago Business recently featured Shirley Ryan AbilityLab's COVID Care Unit in its “Notable Health Care Heroes” feature, which highlighted individuals and teams on the front lines of the fight against COVID-19 in the community.

The COVID Care Unit was recognized by Crain’s for providing rehabilitation care for recovering patients, deploying wearable sensors to track symptoms, and coordinating discharges and preparing patients to return to their homes and communities.

Other featured teams include those from Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Silver Cross Hospital and UChicago Medicine.
