Now a nurse in the Pediatric Innovation Center at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, Samantha Estep, BSN, RN, CRRN, also has experience on the pediatric oncology/hematology/stem cell transplant unit of a children's hospital.

Compared to that experience in an acute-care hospital, she says now being in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital offers her — and RNs like her — a unique opportunity to witness patients "literally get better from day to day."
