TaijiFit combines the best elements of fitness, meditation and the ancient martial art of Taiji (Tai Chi). Tai-Chi has been practiced for thousands of years both as an art of self-defense and a form of moving meditation. Studies have proven this form of exercise to help remove stress, improve balance and stability, and provide an overall enhanced sense of well-being. When you take a TaijiFit class, you will find yourself moving your body with the grace and confidence of the ancient Taiji masters who learned the secret of balancing yin and yang. Experience strength with beauty, power with peace, endurance with flow. There is no routine or choreography to memorize or “get right.” Simply follow along and go with the flow.
This class will be taught by former patient and certified Taijitfit instructor, Terri Cenar. Through Tai-Chi, we will focus on strengthening the internal body by combining the best elements of fitness, meditation, and ancient martial arts.
