Christine DeLeo oversees day-to-day operations for Shirley Ryan AbilityLab’s five Strategic Alliance partners, applying best practices in care delivery and technology in pursuit of the best outcomes for nearly 4,000 patients annually. In this capacity, she partners with Alliance organizations — which include academic and community hospitals and systems — to integrate rehabilitation service lines (e.g., medical-surgical, acute-care, outpatient and day rehabilitation).
Christine joined Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in 1998, bringing extensive experience. Previously, she worked for more than 12 years in the post-acute care arena, holding a range of positions, including Vice President of Operations and Regional Administrator.
Over the span of her career, Christine has received several prestigious awards, among them Administrator of the Year and Operations awards.
Christine has served on numerous committees within the American College of Healthcare Executives, the Illinois Health Care Association and the Illinois Hospital Association.
Christine earned her BS in healthcare administration from Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisc. She earned her MBA from DeVry University’s Keller Graduate School of Management in Chicago. She is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator in three states.
